'Missing' COVID-19 patient in QC located in same street, street number but different barangay

MANILA - A coronavirus patient from Quezon City who supposedly went missing has been located, the city's mayor Joy Belmonte said. 

In an interview Thursday, Belmonte said the patient, who had himself checked at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, declared that he was from Tandang Sora. 

The patient was found Friday in a house with the same street name and same house number, but in Barangay Batasan Hills. 

The checkpoints placed in Tandang Sora will be dismantled, Belmonte said. 

Authorities are also talking to the members of the household in Batasan Hills to prepare them for quarantine.

An "extreme enhanced community quarantine" was declared in Barangay Kalusugan and in Tandang Sora, where 3 respective cases of COVID-19 were tallied.
